Saving Nate Launch Less Than One Month Away
From the very beginning, even before learning about my son's prenatal diagnosis, the twins’ right to life was threatened. But as their parents, my husband and I knew it was our job to protect them, no matter the cost, no matter the pushback from medical professionals. Our little boy and little girl have both always been fully human and fully loved, made in the beautiful image of God.
In response to this experience, the Lord encouraged me to write Saving Nate: Choosing Life after a Devastating Prenatal Diagnosis, where I share our journey of saying “yes” to life for our son—even in the face of a heartbreaking diagnosis—and how the Lord met us with peace and strength every step of the way.
A key verse that guided me after the initial shock was Philippians 4:6-7:
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
